NDIS home modifications follow an assessment and funding process. An enquiry or construction quote does not establish approval, and this website does not claim NDIS provider registration.
Begin with the functional requirements
Your home modification assessor identifies the disability related changes being considered. Ask your plan contact what assessment evidence and building information are required. Use the official NDIS guidance rather than assuming every renovation is fundable.
Translate the agreed scope into building work
Provide a concise description of the proposed modifications and whether an OT report or design is available. The building assessment considers the property, construction, services and practical delivery of that scope. It is not a replacement for the clinical assessment.
Confirm the provider and payment arrangements
Before any funded construction is agreed, check the contracting entity, required registration or eligibility for the plan arrangement, licence and invoicing requirements. Do not assume a business is registered because it discusses NDIS projects on its website.
Keep approval and changes documented
Wait for the necessary written approvals before committing to funded work. If the design changes after assessment, ask the relevant professionals and funder how the revised scope should be handled. Confirm what is included, excluded or privately payable.
What to include in your enquiry
Tell us the property address, the activity or room that is difficult, your timeframe and whether a professional recommendation is available. There is no need to send medical records through the form.
Project suitability, the actual contracting provider, applicable credentials and any required approvals must be confirmed before building work is agreed.
